Tamir Bayarsaihan
Tamir was born in Mongolia. In 1991, at the age of six, Tamir started receiving circus training while his mother was touring with Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus. His training was primary in acrobatics and hand-to-hand balance, and, at the age of eight, he joined the show as part of the Chicago Boyz Tumbling Troupe. Tamir spent his summers performing with Circus Smirkus from 1994 through 2003 in the New England area. In 2002, Tamir joined forces with Circus Juventas where he has since been a performer and coach. In 2004 Tamir pursued a degree at the University of Minnesota in Kinesiology. For two semesters at the U of M he taught movement and acrobatics in their BA & BFA Theater department. Tamir has performed both nationally and internationally with AYCO, Xelias’ Cirqo Cabaret show, Circus Manduhai, and Sea World’s Riptide Show, as well as various corporate events.
