World Circus Day | Circus Juventas

What is World Circus Day?

World Circus Day is the international day of circus arts celebration. It is an opportunity to raise public awareness, share the wonders of this magical world, and attract supporters and circus lovers by creating unforgettable moments of happiness.

Established in 2010 by H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco to “publicize the role of circus as part of our shared cultural heritage,” World Circus Day is held each year with hundreds of circuses around the world participating in the celebration.

Circus Juventas participates in World Circus Day to remind our students that circus is performed all over the world and to keep us connected to the larger circus community.

Celebrate the magic of circus arts with CJ this World Circus Day!

World Circus Day Poster Contest

This year, the Global Alliance of Circus Schools invited student artists to design the official 2026 World Circus Day poster. The winning design becomes the worldwide poster celebrating this incredible global day of circus arts.

We are so thrilled to share that Circus Juventas student, Sashsa Bullert, won an honorable mention! You can see her submission below and check out all the contest submissions on GACS Instagram page.

As a proud member of GACS, we love celebrating alongside circus schools across continents and showcase the creativity that makes the Circus Juventas community shine.
