Lana Umbaakhuu
Lana attended a contortion class at the Mongolian National Circus with the main coach, Majigsuren, when she was 9 years old. She learned flying trapeze, aerial silks, aerial bamboo, aerial rope, juggling, aerial hoop, diabolo, duo trapeze, acrobatics, banquine, and handstands. At the age of 16, she began touring around the world performing. In 2014, Lana came to the US and joined Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey Circus. In 2021, Lana graduated from the Mongolian National University of Physical Education with a master’s degree in Physical Education Coaching. After receiving her master’s, she moved in with her family in Minneapolis.
