Spring Show 2015

Earth, Sky & Space are where we live and dream.  They are made up of both basic physical elements and of intangible metaphysical properties.  Infinite combinations of these exist around and above us, making our world vibrant with the magic of nature.  The planet we walk and the sky into which we gaze are our responsibility to protect, and so with the announcement of this year’s show theme we respectfully encourage our community to be mindful of the practices in which they take part that might affect the elements of nature that surround them.

The four elements—earth, air, fire & water—have been around since the beginning of time.  The idea of the four elements as the building blocks of life has been around since the earliest civilizations on earth imagined where we came from.  Philosophers looked around at their world and out into the sky and surmised that these basic properties could be found in every single thing they saw.

Earth, Sky & Space can be represented in so many ways: color, music, distance, light, texture, movement, sound.  We’re so excited to delve into this theme and create a vibrant Spring Celebration show with you that presents these familiar ideas from a uniquely circus-oriented perspective.  Join us as we explore Earth, Sky & Space!
