Nicole Malone
Nicole Malone is proud to return to Circus Juventas as Director of Development after a wide-ranging journey through the nonprofit world. Nicole attended Macalester College before completing an M.A. in Arts and Cultural Management at the University of Saint Mary’s. Following internships at the Walker and Mia, she affirmed her love for nonprofits in her first job after her M.A. program at Circus Juventas, where she worked in various administrative roles for four years. In 2012, she decided to tackle a new challenge: New York City. There, Nicole worked for Certified Naturally Grown, a non-profit certification initiative for small-scale farmers. She then spent the next chapter working in development, sponsorship and events closer to home at Hennepin Theatre Trust since 2014. She cannot wait to take the skills she has developed to help Circus Juventas grow and adapt into the organization’s next chapters.
Nicole lives in Highland with her darling toddler daughter (who cannot wait to be old enough to start taking circus classes!), husband, and two cats. When not working, she enjoys painting, finding winning recipes to cook, dining and socializing out and about, and spending time with family and friends.
