NEVERLAND – 2014 Summer Show Summary
This summer, happy thoughts and fairy dust will transport Circus Juventas from a proper Edwardian English ballroom to an acrobatic-bedtime extravaganza that catapults the Darling children with Pan and Tink out the window, over the rooftops of London, and through a galaxy of sparkling lights and shimmering stars to Neverland, a magical island with lush jungles and flowing waterfalls. Ominous black sails of the Jolly Roger unfurl with flying female pirates while on the deck below the motley crew, led by the devilish Hook, loads the cannon and takes aim. Glimmering waters of the mermaid cove splash with beautiful, but cunning mermaids and Tiger Lily, daughter of the earth, drums and dances pulsing the land with fire. Deep magical forests house twinkling fairies along with the jealous hell-raiser, Tink! High in the trees and deep in the roots are the lost children who lead an exhilarating life, free of grown-up rules, thanks to Pan, but all fear the inevitable showdown with the murderous Hook and his bloodthirsty pirates. Prepare yourself to believe in fairies and do battle in the final clash and slash of swashbuckling swordplay that turns into a high-flying, death-defying cradle and trapeze, then listen for the tic-toc of the enormous and hungry croc!
