Welcome to Our Virtual Big Top

Our virtual classes are back and better than ever!

Our six-week, live online virtual fall session, running from October 12-November 21, has plenty to offer. We’ve brought back our most popular virtual classes from summer, spanning a wide range of circus arts including acrobatics, aerial conditioning, handstands, and contortion!  Sign up for an entire series, or purchase individual classes week-by-week. We have something for everyone, so check it out!!

  • Act-specific classes: Acrobatics, Contortion, Handstands, Dance, and more!
    • These classes will help returning students keep on track with their skills and allow new students to try their hand at something different. With a class structure similar to our in-person classes, content will differ depending on acts covered. Students will learn act-specific skills along with flexibility and strength training.
  • General conditioning classes: Core Conditioning, Stretching and Strengthening, Conditioning for Aerialists.
  • Pre-Recorded Specialty Classes: We have a selection of pre-recorded, specialty classes for purchase! Toddlers, Kinders, Get your Splits, Perfect your Backbend, and more!
  • Mix and match: Try one or try them all! Combine act-specific classes with conditioning classes to stay CJ strong.

Our live virtual format will allow students to interact with coaches, receive individualized instruction, learn new skills, and ask questions! Sign up for a full six-week series for a discounted price or purchase individual sessions as you go. Each week will cover new skills and topics.

Is the registration process different than registration for in-person CJ classes?

As with our in-person classes, you will need to pre-register and register for classes through our registration software. Everyone who is pre-registered will receive a link to register via email. Use that link every time you want to register for new class.

When will I receive a class link?

A confirmation email containing the class link and other pertinent information will be sent to you as soon as your registration for each class is complete.

How will participation in virtual classes impact in-person class progression?

Participation in virtual classes will not impact progression in any way. However, we strongly encourage current CJ students to stay connected to the community, coaches, and circus friends while staying in shape and keeping their skills sharp!

Are there scholarships available?

We are not able to offer scholarships for our virtual classes.

When can I register for a virtual class?

Registration for each week will close the Friday prior at 10:00 a.m.

What if I miss a virtual class, have technical difficulties, or am unable to attend?

We have priced our virtual classes as low as possible to ensure families can stay active and healthy at home. Unfortunately, because of this low rate, we will not be able to provide any refunds or make-up classes for missed classes.

Will I need / am I allowed to use personal rigging at home for virtual classes?

No. These classes are designed for any of our Circus Juventas families to take at home, and students who have at-home rigs will not be allowed to use them for these classes as Circus Juventas cannot guarantee their safety. Circus Juventas’s policy on at-home rigs is the following: “Circus Juventas cannot be held liable for a project’s end result, therefore we cannot assist with personal rigging questions at this time.”

What is the student code of conduct for online classes?
  • For the safety of our students, and to ensure coaches are aware of the identity of each participant, video must remain on at all times unless specifically requested by coach to turn it off.
  • Participants will adhere to all requests made by coach in regards to muting/unmuting of microphones.
  • Distracting, inappropriate, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated. If coaches observe this type of behavior, the following protocol will be enacted:
    1. Student will be asked to stop the behavior.
    2. If the behavior continues, student will be informed that they must stop the behavior or be removed from the class.
    3. If the behavior still continues, the coach will remove the student from the class. If a student is removed from a class, the coach will submit a behavior report to the administration, and administration will contact family for follow up.
