Maika Isogawa’s last performance with Circus Juventas was NEVERLAND in 2014. Since then, she’s been a very busy young woman:
“After I left CJ, I started studying at Stanford, on track for a science and engineering degree. I got a call about Spiegelworld’s Absinthe, and before I knew it I was signing “Leave of Absence” paperwork for Stanford, and moved to Las Vegas with Jacob [Oberman, another CJ alumni]! We trained there for a month and performed one night on the Vegas strip in front of Caesar’s Palace. In February we moved to Australia, where we performed around 5 cities for 9 months (Newcastle, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Sydney). Between cities, we had vacation time, so I had a chance to explore some of the Indonesian countries like Bali and Thailand. My next stop is training in Montreal…”
We can’t wait to learn more about what is in store for Maika, and we couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishments!
